City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Maddox Names Williams as Municipal Court Administrator

City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has appointed Marion Williams as municipal court administrator, effective immediately.
“Marion brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the court,” Maddox said. “Her attention to detail and concern for all who interact with the court will bring us closer to becoming the most innovative and effectively-managed city in the United States.”
In this department head position, Williams is the chief administrative officer of the municipal court, overseeing its daily operation and administration and developing organizational and administrative programs, policies and procedures.
Williams has served as acting court administrator since November 2016. Before that, she served as assistant court administrator and magistrate senior in the City’s municipal court. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Alabama.
