Tuscaloosa's Mayor Maddox Names Tony Meggs as New City Clerk

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walter Maddox has appointed Tony Meggs as city clerk, effective May 2.
"Mr. Meggs brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the city clerk’s office," said Maddox. "His background in operations, planning and logistics will greatly assist the City of Tuscaloosa as we work toward being the most innovative and effectively-managed city in the United States."
Meggs, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force, holds a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas. He has extensive experience in operations and logistics.
