Tuscaloosa, Ala. €” Tuscaloosa City Hall will resume normal operations Thursday, Jan. 30. A City Council meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. tomorrow. The Tuscaloosa City Board of Education and Tuscaloosa City Council Joint Work Session will be cancelled tomorrow and rescheduled for a later time. A current list of road closures is available here. City response includes: · 123 answered patrol calls since midnight, Wednesday· 149 accidents total (9 since midnight, Wednesday)· 27 people placed in warming stations Tuesday night· 250 cubic yards of sand distributed on roadways Tuesday and Wednesday· 400 calls received by Tuscaloosa 311 Wednesday The Environmental Services Department will resume collection tomorrow for normal Tuesday routes, Friday, Jan. 31 for normal Wednesday routes and Saturday, Feb. 1 for normal Thursday routes. Tuscaloosa 311 will be open for calls until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Tuscaloosa Transit Authority will resume operations beginning 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30.
