The addition of the Media Center is a cooperative effort with the Tuscaloosa Convention and Visitors Bureau. The TCVB initially implemented this media center several months ago and as a quasi-City agency, the vendor is allowing the City of Tuscaloosa to utilize this system at no cost to the City. We appreciate the opportunity to work with the TCVB on this. Tuscaloosa will use the Media Center to publish video files such as public service announcements for City initiatives or other video items such as the Mayor's Report. We will also be adding image data such as slideshows of photos highlighting Tuscaloosa and the surrounding area. The Media Center will be a nice addition to Tuscaloosa's website and one that will help to further the Mayor's initiative to provide the citizens of Tuscaloosa with government that is customer friendly, efficient and effective. The Media Center may be accessed under our "E-Services" menu or at the link below. Please note that a "broadband" Internet connection such as a cable or dsl modem will be required to effectively use the Media Center. [View the Media Center here...]
