Framework Comprehensive Plan Open House: Know before You Go

The City of Tuscaloosa is hosting an open house for members of the public to view and provide input on the draft comprehensive plan.

What: Framework Comprehensive Open House

When: Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Where: Tuscaloosa River Market

If you are planning to join us for this open house, here are a few things to know:

Parking: Attendees may park anywhere along the Riverwalk, or at the Transportation Museum across the street. The Rivermarket lot closest to the building will be reserved for handicap parking. The City will provide golf cart transportation from parking to the building to anyone with mobility issues.

Public Transit: Tuscaloosa Transit Authority is extending the times on their Holt and McKenzie Court Routes, both of which stop at the Tuscaloosa Public Library across the street. Busses on these routes will make their final drop-off at the library at 6:00 p.m., and their final pick-up at 7:30 p.m. – the end of the open house.

The City launched Framework to proactively address topics that are important to the community and help guide Tuscaloosa in the years to come.
