The Fourth of July Celebration on the River returns to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Tuesday, July 4, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. This free, family-friendly event presented by the City of Tuscaloosa will include fireworks, kids' activities, live music by the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and more!

What time do the activities start?
- City of Tuscaloosa Kid Zone (with games and activities for all ages): 6-7:45 p.m.
- DJ Tank performance: 6-7:50 p.m.
- Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra performance: 7:55-8:55 p.m.
What time are the fireworks?
Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. after brief remarks from Mayor Walt Maddox.
Where should we park?
Attendees are encouraged to park in the free Downtown Intermodal Facility and take a shuttle or walk to the Amphitheater. Handicap parking will be available in the Amphitheater box office parking lot.
Does it cost money to attend?
No! This event is completely free to attend.
Can the fireworks be seen from any other locations?
Though it may be possible to view the fireworks from other locations, your best bet for a clear view is to join us in the Amphitheater!
