We're Listening, We're Learning
I recognize the important efforts being done around the country for improving our community needs. I also recognize that our neighborhoods are still faced with crime, poverty, and blight. Over the last couple of months, I have listened and learned to do more. We must do something with this moment to continue to build strong relationships between the city, TPD, and the citizens we serve every day. Today I take the initial step to do more. We will transform our community by enhancing our educational, economic, housing, and recreational opportunities while striving to reduce the impairments to our communities.
