Weekly Update from Mayor and IC Staff

As we begin this new week, we want to ensure that you remain updated on the latest news and events from Incident Command.

First and foremost, we ask that you continue to follow proper protocols such as washing your hands frequently, wiping down desks, door handles and phones and maintaining a social distance of at least six feet.

Please use all cleaning supplies wisely. As you work to keep a clean working environment, please keep in mind that while we do have enough cleaning supplies to maintain a healthy and safe working environment at all city buildings, we do not want to be wasteful.

If you have not signed up for Everbridge, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Everbridge will be one way that the City and Incident Command contacts employees when needed. Please contact your direct supervisor and let them know that you need to be added to the Everbridge system.

Mayor Maddox will be hosting another virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, March 25, at 3 p.m. You can watch this live on the City of Tuscaloosa Facebook page . Employees and citizens are invited to submit questions prior to the Town Hall for the mayor to answer live.

Be sure to watch the latest update from Mayor Maddox to employees. These updates will be filmed frequently and released on the employee Facebook Group as well as on the monitors around the city.
