City of Tuscaloosa to Host Love our Lakes Day

The City of Tuscaloosa will host Love our Lakes Day on Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Presented by Russell Marine, this community-driven initiative aims to preserve the pristine beauty of Lake Tuscaloosa.
Volunteers are encouraged to pre-register online here. Registration is not required, but encouraged.
The first 150 volunteers to arrive will receive a free t-shirt, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Volunteers should check in at the Rock Quarry Boat Landing on Lake Tuscaloosa, where the City’s Environmental Services Division will provide garbage bags and litter pick-up gear.
Volunteers with access to their own boat are encouraged to bring them to assist in cleaning the lake.
