Utilize traditional paper files as well as an electronic filing system, we can research data, provide copies or printouts and respond to your inquiries
The City Clerk works directly with the Mayor, City Council, and the public.
This position has the responsibility of preparing the Agenda for all regular Council meetings and attaching copies of all proposed ordinances and resolutions for distribution to all members of the Mayor and Council.
A few other duties of the City Clerk are as follows:
- Keeping of all City records
- Recording the official actions of the Council
- Supervising municipal elections
- Providing notice of all meetings of the Council and standing committees
- Providing public records
- Information help desk
