Tuscaloosa Mayor Maddox Presents Proposal for Three Major Infrastructure Projects to Tuscaloosa County Road Improvement Commission

City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walter Maddox presented his proposal for three upcoming infrastructure projects to the Tuscaloosa County Road Improvement Commission at their meeting this morning.
Included in Maddox’s proposal are McFarland/Hargrove intersection improvements, McWright’s Ferry Road extension and Martin Luther King Jr./Jack Warner Parkway improvements.
The City is positioned to expedite the latter two projects and save taxpayers $9.4 million by taking advantage of favorable interest rates and reducing regulatory costs, excluding annual increases in construction costs.
