How does a customer discontinue service?

Customers can email ubcontact@tuscaloosa.com and include the following information: requested date of turn off, service address, account number, customer ID number, last four digits of the account holder's Social  Security number and a forwarding address for final billing. If customers do not have access to email, this request can also be made by phone at 205-248-5500.
