City of Tuscaloosa and Partners to Host Annual Tree Giveaway Feb. 25

Tuscaloosa, Ala -- The City of Tuscaloosa, along with the Alabama Power Service Organization and the Druid City Canopy Coalition, will distribute more than 5,000 bare root tree seedlings in its annual tree giveaway.
The giveaway will take place at the Magnolia Pavilion in Snow Hinton Park, Saturday, Feb. 25 beginning at 8 a.m. The seedlings consist of several different varieties including Red Maple, Crepe Myrtle, Dogwood, Live Oak, White Oak, Saw Tooth Oak, Redbud, Bald Cypress, Nuttall Oak and Overcup Oak.
