City of Tuscaloosa to Host 2020 Lake Tuscaloosa Cleanup Day

The City of Tuscaloosa will host the Lake Tuscaloosa Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Binion Creek Boat Launch. Volunteers, especially those with boats, are needed to participate. Lunch will be provided and the first 100 volunteers will receive a free Lake Tuscaloosa hat.
Last year, there were 52 volunteers who helped clean up 5,540 pounds of litter. Lake Tuscaloosa is the primary source of drinking water for Tuscaloosa residents. We need volunteers to help protect our invaluable resources so we can continue to enjoy them.
