City Clerk’s Office Adds Two Saturdays to Accept Absentee Ballots for Municipal Election

The Tuscaloosa City Clerk’s Office has added two Saturdays in February to accept absentee ballot drop off for the March 2 municipal election.

Registered voters wishing to vote absentee may drop off their ballots: 

  • Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to the City Clerk’s office, or the elections information desk located just inside the door to City Hall via the skybridge on the parking deck’s 4th floor
  • Saturday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to the City Clerk’s office

Per Secretary of State advice, the secure lock box established by the City may no longer be used to accept voting materials.

Absentee applications are available at elections.tuscaloosa.com or by calling the City Clerk’s Office at 205-248-5010. Applications are due by Feb. 25 at 5 p.m., and ballots are due by March 1 at 5 p.m.
