The City of Tuscaloosa’s Finance Department has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the third consecutive year from the Government Finance Officers Association for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021.

This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting, reflecting the commitment of the governing body and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting.
