City of Tuscaloosa Tree Recycling and Holiday Garbage Drop-Off

Tuscaloosa, AL – The City of Tuscaloosa will host Christmas tree recycling and a staffed holiday garbage drop-off event.
Tree & Live Greenery Recycling
Between Dec. 26 and Jan. 6, live trees, wreaths and garlands may be dropped off to be recycled at the Curry Environmental Services facility (3440 Reese Phifer Ave.) Greenery may be dropped off at any time, and must be completely free of decorations and lights. A separate bin will be available for recycling Christmas string lights.
Holiday Garbage Drop-Off
On Monday, Dec. 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the City will host a staffed holiday garbage drop-off event at the Curry Environmental Services facility (3440 Reese Phifer Ave.) Along with holiday garbage, citizens are encouraged to bring their recycling to deposit in the recycling containers on site.
