$50,000 x .8 = $40,000

The City of Tuscaloosa will reimburse $25,000 and the applicant will be responsible for the remaining $25,000.

Example 1

Project work costs $10,000

The City of Tuscaloosa will reimburse up to 80% of the total project cost. Applicant will pay a minimum of 20% of the project cost.

$10,000 X .8 = $8,000 reimbursable by the City of Tuscaloosa at the completion of the project. The applicant will be responsible for the remaining $2,000.

If the project exceeds $25,000, the City of Tuscaloosa will only pay up to $25,000 of the total project cost.
