Love Our Lakes Day
Join us on Saturday, March 21st from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. for Love Our Lakes Day; the City of Tuscaloosa’s annual lake cleanup event hosted by Tuscaloosa Water and the City of Tuscaloosa’s Environmental Services Department. Presented by Tradesman Dock Building Company, this community-driven initiative aims to preserve and protect Lake Tuscaloosa, the primary source for drinking water for Tuscaloosa residents.
Volunteers with access to their own boat are encouraged to bring them to assist in cleaning the lake.

How do I get to Rock Quarry Boat Landing on Lake Tuscaloosa?
Take New Watermelon Road ¼ mile past Publix. Take a left at the beginning of the Lake Tuscaloosa Dam. There is a sign. Follow the road to the end to the Rock Quarry Boat Landing.
Where should I park?
All volunteers are encouraged to park at the Rock Quarry Boat Landing where they will check-in.
Can I bring my own boat?
Yes! Volunteers with their own boat are encouraged to bring them to assist in cleaning the lake.
If I do not have a boat can I still participate?
Yes! Volunteers without access to a boat can ride with City crews or help clean up along the shoreline.
