The Tuscaloosa River Market is sponsoring a Back to School Fam Jam event on Thursday, Sept. 12. This festival will celebrate children and families and provide educational entertainment in an enjoyable environment.The Back to School Fam Jam will feature live performances from the Laughing Pizza Family Band. This mom, dad and daughter trio travel throughout the country performing their original pop music. Performances will be held at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Other entertainment options will include face painting, popcorn, photo booths and a meet and greet with America's favorite dinosaur, Barney.This event is the pilot in a series from the Tuscaloosa River Market designed to provide high-quality children and family entertainment as well as support an elevated sense of community.Tickets for the event are on sale now for $21.50.
