Tuscaloosa's Holidays on the River to Begin Sunday, Nov. 23, Tickets on Sale Now

Tuscaloosa, Ala. –The City of Tuscaloosa’s third annual Holidays on the River ice rink will open Sunday, Nov. 23 at noon and run through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 on the lawn of the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater box office or at the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. 

General skate admission, including skate rental, is $12 for ages 2-12 and $15 for ages 13 and up. There will be free admission to the Transportation Museum.

Additional free events at the Transportation Museum include a sneak peek of the Nutcracker ballet, winter crafts with the Tuscaloosa Public Library, UA Community Music School brass ensemble, Tuscaloosa News sing-along and visits with Santa and carriage rides.
