Tuscaloosa Mayor Maddox Presents Proposed Organizational Structure to City Council

City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walter Maddox presented his recommendation for a new organizational structure at today’s administrative committee meeting.
The proposed organization is an effort to simplify and integrate government, maximize resources and cut red tape. Maddox’s proposal will require no additional funding from the 2016 fiscal year operating budget.
Maddox plans to receive input this month, present a final proposal in November and present it to the administrative committee and City Council for for vote in December.
