The City of Tuscaloosa has placed ten additional roll-off dumpsters for student use during move in/move out until Friday, August 11.

The dumpsters have been added to assist students and their families in the removal of household waste during the moving process. Locations for the dumpsters are:
  

• 893 Parkview Drive
• Cloverdale Drive at Meador Drive
• 300 Thomas Street (behind apartment building)
• 7^th Avenue & 12^th Street
• 8^th Avenue & 11^th Street (in front of Capstone Condominiums)
• 11^th Avenue & 12^th Street (in front of Heathrow Apartments)
• 12^th Street behind Tutwiler
• 12^th Street & 14^th Avenue
• 8^th Avenue & 13^th Street
• 6^th Avenue behind Jacks

Dumpsters are marked with move-in/move-out signage. These additional dumpsters are strictly for residential use and are not to be used for contractors or businesses. All debris should be placed inside the dumpsters and not around the dumpsters on the ground.

Recyclable items (cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, plastic bags, aluminum cans, steel soup cans, newspapers/magazines and office paper) can be recycled in the blue curbside recycling bin or the drop-off recycling trailers located around the city.

Electronics can be recycled at the Environmental Services Facility at 3440 Reese Phifer Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
