City of Tuscaloosa to Partner with 151st Army Band for Free Concert to Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary

 The City of Tuscaloosa is partnering with the 151st Army Band to host a free community concert on Tuesday, June 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Government Plaza.

This patriotic event is open to the public and is part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, a milestone honoring our nation’s history, resilience and shared ideals. Guests can expect an evening of inspiring music that celebrates the spirit of American independence.

“It’s truly an honor for Tuscaloosa to be chosen as one of the cities to host the 151st Army Band,” said Kay Day, Executive Director of Arts & Entertainment. “We look forward to welcoming them to our City and enjoying an evening of music with our community.”

In addition to Tuscaloosa, the band will perform in Dothan, Daphne, Mobile, Huntsville and Montgomery in the weeks leading up to the Fourth of July.
