Joshua D. Yates, CFM - Storm Drainage Engineer
Josh has been employed with the City of Tuscaloosa since September 2010 when he started as a college intern in the Office of the City Engineer. He was hired by the City as an Engineering Aide and became the Engineering Environmental Compliance Coordinator in March 2012. In December 2014 he was promoted to Storm Drainage Engineer. He is also the City’s designated Floodplain Administrator. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and a Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI).
Kevin Turner, CFM - Engineering Environmental Compliance Coordinator
Kevin has been employed with the City of Tuscaloosa since May 2006 when he was hired as a Water Treatment Plant Operator. In July 2012 he was hired as a Stormwater Engineering Inspector within the Office of the City Engineer, and he was promoted to Engineering Environmental Compliance Coordinator in April 2015. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration with a minor in Management from The University of Alabama. He is a certified Grade IV Water Treatment Plant Operator, a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and a Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI).
